    Civil War Signatures (10). All examples on small slips or cards, each measuring between 3.5" x 1.5" to 5" x 2.5", some cut from larger documents. Examples include John M. Schofield, Confederate commander Francis M. Cockrell, Union general Gordon Granger, politician David R. Francis, Union major general Franz Sigel, Naval officer Thomas English, Confederate general and later politician Thomas J. Churchill, and others. All are written in bold ink, some with salutations.

    Condition: Range from good to very fine, with uneven toning in places, some mounting remnants on verso. Some pencil notations in places. All signatures are bold.
