Brigadier General Sterling Price Signed Copy of Regulations for the Army of the Confederate States, and for the Quartermaster's Department and Pay Department. (Richmond: Ritchie & Dunnavant, 1861). "Brig Genl S Price/CSA." 8vo, 135pp. Green cloth on boards and clear, plastic dust jacket. Signature is on the front fly leaf and signed before his promotion to Major General. A Brigadier General Price signature has never been offered at auction prior to this. A very unique piece.

Sterling Price (1809-1867) was a governor of Missouri, general in the U. S. Army during the Mexican-American War, and a Confederate general during the Civil War. Pages are toned and the boards show some wear. Near very fine condition.
