    Description

    [William Henry Gaston] Typed Transcript of an Address Delivered by Gaston. Three and one-quarter pages, [Jefferson, Texas], n.d. This address was delivered to the "Veterans of Hood's Texas Brigade" at their annual reunion. It is accompanied by a James O. Bradfield (a Confederate veteran who served in Hood's Brigade) autograph letter signed (February 1925 with transmittal envelope). The veteran informs Gaston of trouble at the Confederate Home in Austin. Both transcript and letter are toned.
