    Description

[Revolutionary War Orders]. Nathan Terry Autograph Document Signed. One page, 8" x 5.5", Enfield [Connecticut], July 8, 1777. Writing to Captain Moses Forbes at Hartford, Colonel Nathan Terry orders him to "...draft one fourth part of the company under your command and se [sic] that they are properly armed and equipped and they are ready to march at the shortest notice for defense of the United States." On the previous day, British General John Burgoyne captured the American stronghold, Fort Ticonderoga, located on the shores of Lake Champlain. Washington and his army were short on supplies and the loss of Ticonderoga's stores, which were vital to the war effort, were an incredible blow to the American army's morale. Overall toning with chipping at the edges. Areas of ink smudging and scattered foxing.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
