Most of these were in the 1st Marine Division, sometimes referred to as "Warfighting MEF," a division that saw heavy fighting throughout World War II. Signed in blue felt-tip by Romus V. Burgin, Sid Phillps, Wayburn Hall, Fred Miller, James Anderson, James Martin, Sterling Mace, John Dillon, Leo Schmittgens, Charles Womack, Jim McEnery, Gunner Johnson, Des Fuller, Billy Cawthon, Roy Elsner, James Dick Kerin, Harry Bender, Sam Menzelos, Franklin Pomroy, Clarence Rea and William Harp.
