    [Mexican War]. George E. Pickett Document Signed "Geo. E. Pickett." One page, 8.5" x 6.25", Mexico City, December 11, 1847, acknowledging the receipt of shirts, boots, blankets, fifes, and drums. At the time, Pickett was serving as regimental quartermaster for the 8th Infantry. Damage along the upper edge and upper left corner. Waterstained along the right edge. Pickett's signature is bold.
