    Description

[Civil War] Autograph Letter from Camp Moscow. Two pages, 8" x 10", Tennessee, June 18, 1862, written to his mother relaying an account of activities around the camp. Of his recent march, he writes, in part: "We have had a hard time since we have been one this march but it has been made so that we have had good rests. We have had to sleep out nearly every night." Heavily toned with ink bleeding throughout. Folds are weak and deteriorating; chipping on the right edge obscuring some text. Good.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
