Mercury Seven Astronauts Photo Signed by All with early forms of their signatures. A 10" x 8" B&W photo, taken July 12, 1962, picturing the original Mercury astronauts around a table admiring an Atlas rocket model. Signed as follows: "Alan B. Shepard Jr.", "Walter M. Schirra Jr.", "John H. Glenn Jr.", "Virgil I. Grissom", "M. Scott Carpenter", "Donald K. Slayton", and "Leroy G. Cooper Jr.". This desirable and historic photo is signed with the astronauts' rare, early signature forms: Carpenter would soon drop the "M." from his signature; Cooper would drop "Leroy G." for "Gordon"; Slayton would change "Donald K." to "D.K."; Grissom would sign "Gus" instead of "Virgil I."; and Schirra would later sign "W.M." instead of "Walter M.". Very fine condition with a bit of crinkling in the lower right quadrant.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
