Martin Van Buren Franked Envelope and Autograph Letter Signed "M. Van Buren." One page letter with integral address leaf signed by Van Buren as well, measures 8" x 9.6", dated January 29, 1844, written from Lindenwald. The letter featured here is written to a Mr. E.H. Drury in Vermont. The content is routine. On the integral address leaf Van Buren signs his name and writes " Free." The letter was canceled on January 30; the stamp is still visible, as well as Van Buren's wax seal. The letter is in fine condition; small tear on the left edge where wax seal was broken; usual folds are present; small brown redox spots on several localized areas on the first page. Accompanying the letter is a cut out picture of a Van Buren painting. A Nice addition to the letter for framing or matting. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
