    Martin Luther King, Jr. Inscribed Card. One page, 5.5" x 3.5", n. p. [Atlanta], n. d. [1963]. Just months after the successful Birmingham Campaign, and sent at the request of Mrs. Oscar I. Havunen, the great civil rights leader has written, in blue ink: "Best Wishes/Martin Luther King, Jr." With an accompanying TLS from Dr. King's secretary, 8.5" x 11", on Southern Christian Leadership Conference letterhead, Atlanta, October 21, 1963, reading: "Dr. King asked me to send you the enclosed card which he has signed for your collection." With original transmittal envelope. The card, which is perforated along the lower edge, is in very fine condition.
