    John Hart Caughey Papers. From the personal papers of Colonel Caughey, the lot includes:
    Louis Mountbatten Typed Letter Signed. One page, 8.5" x 11"; Washington, D.C. ; August 27, 1943. A thank you letter for his hospitality during his stay in Washington. Uneven toning, with two areas of light mat burn. Usual mail folds and light creasing.
    George Marshall Typed Letter Signed. One page, 7" x 9"; Moscow; April 21, 1947. Thanking him for a book received. Usual mail folds, a bit of ghosting from letterhead imprint at bottom.
    Omar Bradley Typed Letter Signed. One page, 7" x 8.5"; February 17, 1964. Thanking him for birthday greetings received from Caughey and the 82nd Airborne.
    A. C. Wedemeyer Typed Letter Signed. One page on War Department letterhead. May 13, 1943. A letter to Mrs. Caughey sending news that he received word from northwest Africa that "Hart is in splendid shape". Toning, with usual folds.
    Katherine Marshall Autograph Letter Signed. Six pages, 8" x 9"; Pinehurst, N.C.; March 22, 1947. Very good condition, with original transmittal envelope.
