    John F. Kennedy Photograph Inscribed and Signed "For Tom Smith – with warmest regards – John F Kennedy." 9" x 7.5", no place; no date [circa 1961]. A black and white photograph of Kennedy at the PT-109 Heroes Reunion, surrounded by Jack Warner, Mrs. Ray Starkey, Bryan Foy, Patrick McMahon, Alvin Cluster, Mrs. McMahon, and Thomas Smith. The event was held for the surviving crew members of the PT-109, which was sunk by a Japanese destroyer during WWII. Kennedy had commanded the small vessel, and his actions after the sinking saved many of his crews' lives. The image has been mounted on thick cardstock to the overall size of 12" x 12". Accompanying the photograph is a small caption card that identifies the people in the picture. Also, with a November 22, 1961 newspaper clipping commemorating the reunion event.

    Condition: Light toning to the mounting with corner bumping. Soiling and toning to the caption card. Toned newspaper clipping. Kennedy's signature is very bold.
