DescriptionJohn F. Kennedy Inscribed Photograph Signed. Image measure 10.25" x 13.25", this iconic black and white, Louis Fabian Bachrach photograph shows the president, chest up in a pin-stripe suit, staring directly at the camera, a slight rise on the left side of his lips. Kennedy has placed an inscription directly below the photograph on the mount, reading: "For Clarence Cannon - a distinguished and valued public servant with the esteem and very best wishes of his friend. John F. Kennedy." Clarence Cannon was a Democratic Congressman from Missouri who served from 1923 until his death in 1964. Mounted to an overall size of 15" x 19".
Condition: Light silvering around the edges. The mat has been backed to repair multiple cracks and breaks through the inscription and signature and at top right.
