    Johannes Brahms Autograph Letter Signed "J. Brahms." Postcard, in German, 5.5" x 3.5", Vienna; [postmarked January 1, 1896]. Postcard addressed to Dr. S. Fischer, in Hannover, to which Brahms writes [English translation], "In case you were not satisfied with me the other day, you'll be all the more satisfied with me tomorrow! I'm sending a copy of two letters by Billroth to a member of Parliament which you'll find most interesting and welcome! I have the originals, if you have questions. The addressee would like to delete one passage. I'm enclosing a note of his. I think I'll make you happy with this."

    Accompanied by an English translation.

    Condition: Postcard has slight toning, but otherwise very good.

    More Information: Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) was a German composer, pianist, and conductor of the Romantic period, spending much of his professional life in Vienna. He is considered one of the major composers in the history of music, often referred to one of the "Three Bs", along with Bach and Beethoven..
