    J.E.B. Stuart Clipped Signature "J.E.B. Stuart Major Genl Comd." A small slip, 2.75" x 1.75", cut from a larger letter. Includes Stuart's valediction, "Your obt svt." JEB Stuart (1833-1864), was a skilled cavalryman and served as the eyes and ears of Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia. He was killed at the Battle of Yellow Tavern.

    Condition: Light toning. Bold and clear signature.
