    James Wilson Autograph Letter Signed. One page with docketing on the verso, 7.5" x 9", New York, August 14, 1793, to the President of the Bank of Pennsylvania. Wilson, an Associate Supreme Court Justice at the time, writes, in full: "Sir Will you be good enough to inform me whether the Bank of Pennsylvania will take as cash, from the Receiver General of the Land Office, about one hundred thousand Dollars in both of the Bank of New York, and of the Branch Bank of New York. I have the pleasure to be with great respect, Sir, Your Obt. Servant, James Wilson". Usual fold creases, bright, legible and in fine condition.
