James G. Blaine Cabinet Card Signed, 4.25" x 6.5", October 8, 1892. A particularly attractive pose of the congressman, senator, secretary of state, and Republican Party presidential nominee, the cabinet card is in fine condition.

    More Information:

Blaine, a dominant Republican leader of the post-Civil War period, received the 1884 Republican Party nomination, but lost to Democrat Grover Cleveland. He served as a congressman, speaker of the house of representatives, United States senator, and twice United States secretary of state. This image was signed four months before Blaine's death.
