Check signed by the American writer Cooper (1789-1851), drawn the Otsego County Bank, in Cooperstown, to pay himself $100. 2) Title page, 4.25" x 7.5", of Cooper's book The Wing-and-Wing, or Le Feu-Follet; a Tale, Vol. 1. (Philadelphia: Lea and Blanchard, 1842), with a clipped signature of Cooper glued on page.

    Condition: Check in good condition; title page is torn from a book, with water staining at top and some foxing; gall ink has caused small paper loss over signature. Fair.
