James 1995 Lovell Autograph Letter Signed to His Cousin Regarding Family Matters. A handwritten one-page letter, 8.5" x 11", on his company letterhead, dated December 26, 1995, to Gary Coleman, signed at close: "Jim Lovell". Lovell opens with an apology regarding the lateness of his response due to: "...a very busy year. The book tour, movie work and now the many speech appearances have kept me on the road..." He then thanks Gary for the family pictures and history and says he remembers his visit to the cottage at Sturgeon Lake. He goes on to discuss U.S. citizenship and that his father never became one. It closes with regards to Gary's mother and an invitation to visit. Included are two 5" x 7" glossy copy photos- one from the above-mentioned 1967 visit to the cottage and the other a copy of a wedding photo of Lovell's grandparents (James S. Lovell and Josephine Cordelia Rupert) in Toronto in 1888. Letter's mailing folds flattened, fine.
