Jacqueline Kennedy Typed Letter Signed. One page, 5.25" x 7.5", October 20, 1966. A letter to Norman Cousins: "Dear M. Cousins. I was so touched by your letter. It came today offering to help. I think things should either calm down or explode in the next few days - - and if there is anything you can do, I certainly shall call for help. Thank you so much for everything always. With my deepest gratitude Jacqueline Kennedy." The salutation and closing have been handwritten by Mrs. Kennedy. Accompanied by original transmittal envelope.

On October 17, 1966 the Harvard Graduate School of Public Administration was renamed the John F. Kennedy School of Government in honor of the late President. Mrs. Kennedy is no doubt referencing that event in her letter. Ex. Norman Cousins Estate.
