    Thomas Edison Power of Attorney Signed "Thomas Alva Edison". One partially printed page, 8" x 13", Orange, New Jersey; August 24, 1888. The document appoints "Richard N. Dyer and Henry W. Seely, composing the firm of Dyer & Seely, of No. 40 Wall Street, New York City, State of New York, his attorneys, with full powers of substitution and revocation, to prosecute an application for a patent for new and useful Improvements in Phonogram-Blanks, to sign the drawings, to receive the patent, and to transact all business in the Patent Office connected therewith." Boldly signed by Edison in black ink. Countersigned by Rich N. Dyer and William Pezer as witnesses.

    Condition: Flattened folds, with edge toning. There is archival tape on verso at folds to mend edge chipping and a small hold at the center fold. Overall good.
