    Thomas Alva Edison Photograph Signed "Thos. A. Edison." Measuring 6.25" x 8.25" (sight), this wonderful silver gelatin print was taken sometime around 1910 and features Edison sitting in his laboratory library, looking thoughtfully at nickel-iron battery, which he invented in 1901. Moderate silvering is seen throughout, especially around the edges. The photograph is mounted to a backing board to an overall size of 9.75" x 11.75". The inscription, "To Harvey Robinson," and signature are found on the board below the photograph. Board is toned with slight damage to the lower right corner.
