    Description

Thomas Alva Edison Document Signed With Rare Full Version of Signature. The typed minutes of a Board of Directors meeting of Thomas A. Edison Limited, 1½ pages, 8" x 11", West Orange, April 25, 1924. The business of this meeting, of a British branch of Edison's operations, concerned retaining Harry Hughes, who had been Secretary since 1915, in that office, and instructing him to effect reduction in the capital of the company. Signed on the second page by Edison and Walter Stevens; Edison's signature is the rare "Thomas Alva Edison" which he probably used here because he wanted to be extremely formal in this document related to his British operations. Edison founded a vast network of companies that manufactured and marketed his many inventions. Fine condition. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
