    Description

    Orville Wright Signed Photograph. Measuring 5.75" x 4.25" (sight), Wright signs his name at the lower right corner of a printed photograph of the first manned flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on December 17, 1903. Following the death of his brother Wilbur in 1912, Orville carried on their legacy alone towards an exciting future. He built an aeronautics laboratory and dedicated himself to developing and inventing aeronautical devices and equipment. He also stayed active in the public eye, promoting aeronautics, inventing, and utilizing such marketing tools as the image offered here. Double matted and framed to an overall size of 10.75" x 9.25".
