    Nobel Prize Winner Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen Autograph Note Signed "W. C. Röntgen". Written on Röntgen's personal 4.5" x 3.5" calling card, Munich, September 16, 1910, in German. Wilhelm Röntgen (1845-1923) was a pioneer in the field of x-ray technology and was awarded the first Nobel Prize in physics. He writes a warm note to an unnamed colleague: "Please accept upon this your 60th birthday the warmest congratulations from my wife and myself! May tomorrow prove to be a day of pure feasting and joy for you and your esteemed family."

    Condition: Minor spot of soiling at the right edge.
