    Hans Geiger Typed Letter Signed "H. Geiger." One page, 5.75" x 4", Department of Physics, University of Kiel, October 7, 1926. In the letter, written in German on a toned postcard, the co- inventor of the Geiger counter asks Karl Selmayr of Munich "for information when the new metal X-ray tube will be delivered."

    The body of the letter reads in full, "I am coming back today to our conversation in Düsseldorf and would like to ask you for information when the new metal X-ray tube will be delivered."
