    George Cuvier Document Signed "Baron Cuvier." Partially printed document, the remainder completed in manuscript, 7.5" x 5", Paris, March 3, 1828. A document from the Institute of France signed by Cuvier on the left front side. Baron Cuvier (1769-1832) was a French naturalist and zoologist often referred to as the founding father of paleontology.

    Condition: Old smoothed fold creases. Toning to paper. Slight loss to two corners. Signature faded.
