    Henry Lee III Docket Signed, "Henry Lee." One sheet, 7.25" x 4.5", Richmond; January 8, 1793. A handwritten order to pay Henry Lee 250 pounds and signed by Lee, who wrote "Recd. payment" on bottom of document. Lee (1756-1818), who was governor of Virginia at the time, as well as the father of Robert E. Lee, signed his initials on the verso of the document as a docket.

    Document is accompanied by handwritten chronology of Lee as well as an engraving of Lee.

    Condition: The document has a vertical and horizontal fold; otherwise good.
