    Harry Truman Typed Letter Signed as Vice President. One page, 5.5" x 8" (sight), Washington, D.C.; February 16, 1945. Addressed to a Mrs. Blanche Neville of Kansas City. Truman thanks her for sending a note concerning a Frank Davis. Truman was Vice President for a mere eighty-two days before President Roosevelt's death on April 12, 1945. It reads in full: "Thanks a lot for your note about Frank Davis. I am certainly sorry to hear about it, and I am writing him today." Signed, "Harry Truman." It is matted and framed with the original transmittal envelope to the overall size of 18.25" x 17.5". Not examined outside of the frame.

    Condition: Uniformly toned.
