    H. G. Wells Autograph Letter Signed, "H.G", one page on personal letterhead, 6.5" x 8", Hampstead, nd, to "My dear Norman". It reads, "You must do that financial (?) work. I've read it with interest & admiration...I know that one has a use for these things. Oh! I'm just off to bed. I'm ill in my bowels. I feel damnable. Yours,". Smoothed folds, light overall toning. Fine condition. Matted in custom wooden frame along with a name plate and a likeness of H.G. Wells. The author of such enduring classics as The Time Machine, War of the Worlds and The Invisible Man, Wells become the first science fiction writer gain a widespread following. He also wrote popular non-fiction as exemplified by his Outline of History.
