James Madison Partial Document Signed as Secretary of State. One partially printed page, 7.75" x 7.25", no place; circa 1801 to 1809. Document has been trimmed from a Four-Language Ship's Paper that was signed by Madison as Secretary of State, "James Madison."
Millard Filmore Clipped Signature as Vice President. One page, 4" x 1.5", no place; circa 1849 to 1850. Signed, "M. Fillmore / V.P."
[Civil War]. James Garfield Document Signed. One page, 7.5" x 3.25", no place; circa 1863. Addressed to a Captain J. B. D. Signed as Chief of Staff for Major General William Rosecrans, "J. A. Garfield / B. G. Chief of Staff."
Franklin Pierce Signed Card. 5" x 2.75", Concord, New Hampshire; March 31, 1862. Signed, "Franklin Pierce."
James Buchanan Signed Receipt. One page, 6.5" x 5", Wheatland; January 28, 1862. A brief note that accompanied a payment of $4,860 to a William B. Hill. Signed, "James Buchanan."
Andrew Johnson Signature as President. One page, 4.75" x 2", no place; February 10, 1868. Signed, "Andrew Johnson."
Rutherford B. Hayes Document Signed as President. One page, 7.75" x 10", Washington; April 24, 1877. A warrant pardoning Edward O'Brien. Signed, "R.B. Hayes."
Condition: Lightly soiled and toned. Occasional ink smudge and pencil notation. Smoothed folds.
