DescriptionGroup of Four Jacqueline Onassis Signatures. Includes: Jacqueline Onassis Typed Letter Signed. One page, 8.5" x 11", New York City, New York; March 4, 1976. Jacqueline, who was working for Viking Press as a consulting editor, responds to an inquiry from a Bradley Smith by politely declining to take on the poetry collection of a Ms. Gilot. She then encourages her to submit some individual poems to magazines to build up an audience base which may increase her chances of being published in the future. Typed on Viking Press letterhead and signed, "Jacqueline Onassis."
Jacqueline Onassis Signed Card. One page, 5" x 3.75", no place; no date. Written in red ink, it reads in full: "With appreciation and best wishes –." Signed, "Jaqueline Onassis."
Jacqueline Onassis Signed Card. One page, 5.25" x 4", no place; circa 1974-1975. A heavy stock card thanking a Mr. Colin Reed of the New Lincoln School in New York City for his condolences, presumably following the death of her husband, Aristotle Onassis. Written in black ink, it reads in full: "thank you dear Mr. Reed- I was very touched to hear for you." Signed, "Jaqueline Onassis." Accompanied by original transmittal envelope.
Jacqueline Onassis Clipped Signature. 3" x 1", no place; no date. Clipped signature written in blue ink, "Jacqueline Onassis." Signature has been affixed to a black-bordered mounting card measuring 5" x 3".
Condition: TLS has light wrinkling and bumped corners along right edge and a .25" hole near bottom left corner. Red ink card is very gently rubbed with tape remnants on verso indicating previous mounting. Clipped signature is wrinkled and lightly rubbed.
