George H.W. Bush Autograph Note Signed "George" as President. One page, 6.5" x 4.25" (sight), October 7, 1991. Addressed to Senator Daniel Patrick "Pat" Moynihan, written in black felt tip pen, in full: "Pat - a brilliant opening para. to your piece Big Red Lie. Thanks for sharing." Note is matted to an overall size of 8.75" x 7", with transmittal envelope mounted on verso.

The opening paragraph of Moynihan's story which Bush admired reads: "In as fine an address as any American statesman will ever give, George Bush called for the United Nations to undo one of the most sordid acts of the age of totalitarianism: the 1975 resolution declaring Zionism to be a form of racism. In effect, it was a resolution to deny the state of Israel the right to exist."

Condition: Minor wear and mounting remnants on matt on verso, but otherwise very good condition.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
