    Description

Gene Cernan Signed Large Apollo 17 Lunar Surface Color Photo. A dramatic 16" x 20" silk-finish photo, NASA image AS17-134-20387, on Kodak Endura paper of Cernan holding the corner of the American flag with the Earth visible in the background. He has signed in silver felt tip with excellent contrast: "'America's Challenge of/ Today has Forged Man's/ Destiny of Tomorrow'/ Gene Cernan/ Apollo XVII/ Commander/ Dec 1972". This is a portion of his comments as he took man's last step from the moon's surface. Excellent.
