Franklin D. Roosevelt. Typed Letter Signed. One page (conjoining leaves), The White House, Washington, January 18, 1939, to William H. Kennedy, Esq. FDR writes: "Dear Mr. Kennedy:-/ I am delighted to have the copies of the elevation of the Hyde Park School. Many thanks for sending them. It is good to know that such excellent progress is being made./ Very sincerely yours,/ Franklin D. Roosevelt." This letter shows FDR's interest in education and the goings on in his home of Hyde Park, New York. This letter is one of three letters in a series written by FDR to Mr. Kennedy between January and March, 1939. All three letters are part of the present FDR Collection. Accompanying the three letters is a letter dated February 10, 1988 on Franklin D. Roosevelt Library letterhead from Dr. William R. Emerson, then the Director of the FDR Library. Mr. Emerson writes to Mr. John C. Nugent about these letters: "Dear Mr. Nugent:/ This will acknowledge receipt of copies of letters from President Roosevelt to your uncle, Mr. William Kennedy, and to thank you for sending them to us./ For us as archivists, concerned primarily with the historic record, copies of documents are as useful as ‘the real thing' and we have gladly added these to our archives./ With, again, my thanks for your kindness in the matter./ Yours sincerely,/ William R. Emerson/ Director."

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
