    Joseph Pennell Autographed Letter Signed engrossed entirely in his hand. One page, 6" x 9.25", Brooklyn, New York, April 22, 1923, Hotel Margaret letterhead.
    Max Beerbohm Autographed Letter Signed. Bifolia, with writing on the first and third pages. 4.5" x 7", April 7, 1899.
    William Auerbach-Levy Autographed Letter Signed. One page. 5.75" x 6.75, undated. On his printed letterhead with his address on Washington Square in New York.
    All four letters are individually affixed to 9" x 11" scrapbook sheets.

    Elizabeth Robins Pennell Autographed Letter Signed. One page, 6" x 7", September 10, 1927, on the printed letterhead of Pennell. Addressed to a Mr. Grasberger, the letter reads, in part: "I think I am in debt to you for the copy of The American Collector that came a day or two ago. Thank you for remembering me." Faint mailing fold, else very good.  Mounted on a larger 9" x 11" sheet. Mary Elizabeth Robbins Pennell wrote biographical works on James Whistler, Charles Godfrey Leland, Mary Wollstonecraft and others.

    Joseph Pennell Autographed Letter Signed. One page, 6" x 9.25", Brooklyn, New York, April 22, 1923, Hotel Margaret letterhead.  In part: "I have been over the etchings and lithos this morning. There are some five hundred of them. When can you come see them?" Usual mailing folds and a few light creases, else very good. Mounted on a larger 9" x 11" sheet. Pennell (1857 - 1929) was a writer but is primarily know as an etcher and lithographer and most notably as an illustrator.

    Max Beerbohm Autographed Letter Signed. Bifolia, with writing on the first and third pages. 4.5" x 7", April 7, 1899. On Beerbohm's printed letterhead, he explains he has been out of town and apologizes for his delay in responding. Usual mail folds, else very good. Mounted on a larger 9" x 11" sheet. Beerhohm, an English caricaturist and writer, is best known for his novel Zuleika Dobson.

    William Auerbach-Levy Autographed Letter Signed. One page.  5.75" x 6.75, undated. On his printed letterhead with his address on Washington Square in New York.  In part: "If you care to have the young lady brought to New Hope next Tuesday and Wednesday it would be fine.  I thing I can do it in two sittings. I may need a third we will see later." Usual mail folds and a faint damp stain affecting the last three letters of the signature, else good.  William Auerbach-Levy, a Russian American artist, was best known for his paintings and caricatures.
