Ernest Hemingway Wine Card Signed "E. Hemingway," 3.5" x 2.5", [1933]. Matted and framed with an image of the author and an information plate for an overall size of 26" x 16.5". The card is partly printed reading "Wine Card" at the top and asking for "Required Name" and "Berth No." Hemingway, who has signed in pencil along the lower edge, has requested, among other wines, "2 Bot Champagne." The card is lightly toned and bears expected wear and light soiling. According to the information plate, "During the late summer of 1933, Ernest Hemingway signed this wine card while on board the Reina de la Pacifica. The ship had set sail from Havana, Cuba, on August and would arrive in Santander, Spain, in time for the bullfights."
