Description

Eighteen Revolutionary War Connecticut Pay Vouchers, dated 1775-1783. Eleven are partially printed and seven are manuscripts. The pay vouchers are for several different people, including Captain James Beebe; Josiah Read; James Burton; Captain Ebenezer Mosely; Caleb Else "Dec'd"; William Walley Springer; "the Selectmen of Plainfield . . . for Service & Expense of Capt. Andrew Buckner[?] and the company under him"; "Lt. Lee Lay Paymaster of a Company raised for Defence of Sea Coast at Lyme"; "Daniel Clark Lieutenant of the first Company in Plainsfield"; and "Capt. Throughout the war, Connecticut contributed many men to military effort. From the Donald P. Dow Collection.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
