There is a second indenture signed by Carroll the Settler dated October 17, 1713 for land to Digg[e]s adjacent to the previously stated document.

Most notably, in the group is group of letters related to the sale of land by the Digges family to the United States for the purpose of building Fort Washington. The first such letter is from Commodore Thomas Tingey, and is dated September 22, 1807. Tingey discusses the topic of price, and opines that "it ought to be well paid for".

A memorandum by paymaster Robert Brent on behalf of the United States is also present. Brent lists all points of negotiation including price and impact on the surrounding, and has affixed to it a second memorandum in an unknown hand outlining the position of the government.

Additional documents include a few family letters on the topic of debts owed, and receipts for rent and taxes paid.
