    Description

    Declaration Signer George Clymer Autograph Letter Signed "G. Clymer." One page with integral address leaf, 4.75" x 8", np, nd. This letter was written to A. McCall Esquire, the content discusses land prices and taxes, it reads in part, "…Mr. Kane tells me that in consequence of a confirmation lately taken place of titles on Military grants that lands there have considerably risen in value - some up to 5 dollars!…" Clymer was a Declaration of Independence Signer representing Pennsylvania.

    The letter is in fine condition; usual folds are present; edges are worn and torn slightly; residue and small hole present from wax seal removal. Also included with this ALS is a handsome engraving of Clymer, perfect for a display piece! From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
