    Columbia Crew STS-107 Autograph Collection. On February 1, 2003, after a 16-day mission, the Columbia space shuttle and her crew were lost during reentry, 16 minutes prior to the scheduled touchdown at the Kennedy Space Center. Comprises: 1) Rick Husband, Typed Letter Signed "Rick D. Husband," one page, 8.5" x 11". NASA, Houston, January 3, 1996. To Michael J. Gerstley, San Jose, CA, returning an autographed stamp. 2) Six 5" x 3" index cards, each bearing the 4¢ Project Mercury stamp, each signed by an STS-107 crew member: Commander "Rick D. Husband," Pilot "Willie McCool," Payload Commander "Michael Anderson," and Mission Specialists "Kalpana Chawla," "David M. Brown/ STS-107," and "Laurel B. S. Clark." Contrast is adequate. 3) Imprinted David Brown/ Astronaut Business Card, 3.5" x 2" signed "David M. Brown," lightly stained.4) Kalpana Chawla, two Autograph Letters Signed "Kalpana Chawla," each one page, 5.5" x 8", each 1995, to Michael Gerstley concerning stamps, with envelope upon Chawla has printed her name and NASA return address. 11 items.
