    Charles Lindbergh Flown Cover Signed. 9.5" x 4.25" cover featuring the "Cristobal to Miami" air mail route, Miami, cancelled on May 1, 1930, and signed November 26, 1931. Ever the aviation pioneer, following his monumental trans-Atlantic crossing, Charles Lindbergh championed a campaign to open an express air mail route from Miami to Cristobal Colón (Panama Canal Zone) with stops in Havana, Cuba, and Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua. Lindbergh served as pilot on the inaugural run, flying a Sikorsky S-38 to complete the route. Self-addressed to V.E. Chenea, Pan American Airways, Miami, Florida. Signed vertically at left edge "C.A. Lindbergh 11/26/31."
    Condition: Toned, with some handling wear, and a few spots of scattered foxing, primarily at the upper-left.
