Description
Charles de Gaulle Typed Letter Signed. One page, in French, 8" x 10.5", Colombey-Les-Deux-Eglises, France; March 24, 1947. Envelope included. Letter to A. Michonneau, in French. The French General writes [English translation] in full: "The two works which you have had the kind thought to send me are well received. It is with emotion that I've come to know them. I was waiting for what you knew and to thank you for them. Believe me, Monsieur, of the best sentiments." Signed, "C. de Gaulle."Condition: Smoothed mailing folds.
