    Description

William J. "Pete" Knight X-15 Signed Photo. An 8" x 10" B&W lightweight litho print of Knight standing next to the North American X-15A-2, NASA 66671. This was the very plane in which he set the world's speed record for flight in a winged, powered aircraft in 1967, a record that still stands today. Signed in black felt tip: "William J. Knight/ Pete". Knight flew the X-15 sixteen times, earning his Astronaut Wings for flight above 280,000 feet. Desirable to both aviation and space collectors. Very fine.
