    Description

    William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody Autograph Quotation Signed "W. F. Cody". One page, 8.8" x 9.75", Chicago, 1893, on "Buffalo Bill's Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World" letterhead. The letter is affixed to a larger paperboard backing (12" x 9.75") with a newspaper article and a stamped ticket to "Grand Stand. Buffalo Bill's Wild West." Affixed on the verso is a Grover Cleveland Autograph Letter Signed (one page, 4.5" x 7", Princeton, New Jersey, June 1, 1897).

    More Information:

    William Cody AQS: In a large hand, the flashy western showman quotes an advertisement for malt coffee: "Drink Pan. Malt Coffee."

     

    Grover Cleveland ALS: Only three months after leaving office, President Cleveland declines a request, asking to be excused "from cooperation."
