Vladimir Dezhurov Signed Russian Mir / STS-71 Docking Color Photos (Two). Space Shuttle Atlantis (STS-71) was the first U.S. shuttle to dock with the Russian space station Mir in June 1995 (and the first docking of any shuttle to a space station). Dezhurov was aboard Mir (Mir EO-18) during the docking and returned home on STS-71. As follows. (1) A 7.75" x 9.75" silk finish photo of the two just before docking, signed in gold felt tip: "Mir-18/ [Cyrillic script signature]/ V. Dezhurov". (2) A 9.75" x 7.75" silk finish photo of the two docked, signed in gold felt tip in Cyrillic script: "Mir-18/ Pilot-Cosmonaut/ V. Dezhurov". Excellent.
