Thomas H. Ince Signed Photograph. Here we have a fine black and white photograph of silent film producer, director, and screenwriter Thomas Ince. The photo measures 8.75" x 11" and is signed and inscribed, "To John Ellis, Seasons Greetings Thomas Ince 1920." Ince is known by some as- "the father of the Western"; many of his early movies were Westerns and were very successful for their gorgeous imagery and storylines. Ince died on a boating trip while with William Randolph Hearst and several other prominent Hollywood individuals; rumors and speculation about his death have circulated for years, some even being made into a movie. The photograph is in very fine condition; it is mounted on a large piece of white cardboard stock. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
