    Description

Space Shuttle Challenger (STS-51-L) Crew-Signed Color Photo Matted with Mission Patches. A stunning presentation of this rare and desirable complete crew-signed photo along with the mission insignia and NASA Teacher in Space embroidered patches. Quadruple matted and framed to an overall 18" x 10.5", this display pays proper tribute to the six astronauts and one brave teacher who lost their lives when the Challenger broke apart just seventy-three seconds after lift-off on January 28, 1986. The NASA color lithographed print is signed as follows: "El Onizuka"; "S. Christa McAuliffe"; "Greg Jarvis"; "Judy Resnik"; "Mike Smith"; "Dick Scobee"; and "Ron McNair". Included with the lot is a Certificate of Authenticity from Novaspace, signed by Kim Poor, stating that these signatures "...are authentic and guaranteed to have been signed in person." Worthy of the finest collections. Excellent condition.
