Description
Skylab 1 (SL-2) Large, Crew-Signed Photo from the Personal Collection of Mission Pilot Paul Weitz. An 14" x 11" color photo of the Skylab Orbital Workshop mounted to a 20" x 16" mat board. The three crewmembers, "Charles Conrad Jr.", "Joe Kerwin", and "Paul Weitz" have all signed in black ink on the mat beneath the photo. This gorgeous photo taken in June 1973 shows Skylab, the first U.S. space station, as it orbits above the Earth. The far horizon beautifully shows the curvature of planet Earth.Included with this stunning photo is a signed, handwritten Letter of Authenticity from Weitz on his personal letterhead stating that, "...This photo was taken by me during our post-undocking flyaround. It is from my personal collection of artifacts and has been in my possession ever since." Excellent condition and would be wonderful for display.
