    Description

    Richard E. Byrd (1888-1957, American naval officer and explorer). Typed Letter Signed. August 27, 1930. Byrd Antarctic Expedition Stationery. Displayed with a copy of My Fox-Terrier, a poem which comprises the subject of the letter. Letter itself measures 8.5 x 7.5 inches and can be easily removed from the photo corners. One horizontal folding crease. Some staining and additional wrinkling. Good or better. From the collection of Judith Adelman.
